Nationwide Bath Half Marathon 2009

Join our team of Rainbow Runners & help relieve the pain, guilt, anger & sadness of local families affected by bereavement & life threatening illness.

Despite the city of Bath being built on 7 hills the 13.5 mile course for the Bath Half Marathon is relatively flat, though it doesn’t always feel that way, taking in some of the Georgian sights and a couple of circuits of the river valley. It’s a great course for setting personal best times but also for runners of all abilities.

We have some Gold Bond places still available for next year’s race. We ask that all our Gold Bond runners make an initial donation of £25 to secure your place and then raise a further £175 in sponsorship. In return we will provide you with a fundraising pack, a Rainbow Centre runners wicking t-shirt and invite you to a pre-race reception at The Rainbow Centre so you can see how the money you are raising will be spent. Own place runners are also welcome to join our team and we will provide you with the same support but you have no minimum limit on your fundraising.

If you would like to join our team of runners on 15th March 2009 contact Angela on 0117 85 3354 or email angela@rainbowcentre.org.uk or print off the form below and send it to The Rainbow Centre for Children, 27 Lilymead Avenue, Bristol, BS4 2BY along with your cheque for £25 made payable to “The Rainbow Centre”.
